Acacia is a 2 year old pitbull mix who was originally brought to us through our cruelty department, she was adopted and returned after a few months because she doesn't like to be left alone. She is a very sweet & happy girl with lots of energy! She loves to play with toys and is super duper smart! She would be great in a home with children of all ages and loves to play with other dogs! Adoption processSo you’re ready to add a family member to your home! Well you’re at the right place! To begin, you can view our animals available for adoption online, but there’s nothing like the real thing. We welcome you to come to our shelter and spend some time getting to know our animals in person. To start off, please review the adoption guidelines below to speed up the adoption process: 1. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. 2. All adoption applications must be filled out completely. 3. An adoption application must be completed before any animal can be taken out for a visit. No animal will be taken out for a visit prior to this time. 4. You will need picture ID, with name and current address, to photo copy onto your application. 5. Any animal on a HOLD cannot be taken out for a visit until its holding time is up and it is available for adoption. 6.
